Museum night at the Van Eesteren Museum — Reclaiming the City!
During Museum Night, the Van Eesteren Museum transforms into a creative meeting place where you can re-imagine the city.
Take part in the artist collective workshop Third Place, where you have your own Reclaim the City put the message on the wall. This artist collective of six Rietveld alumni investigates how to work together as a collective. They create an open space where creativity, imagination and sometimes friction come together. They teach you how to make your own poster on the huge wall while painting.
In addition, we bring live street art to life: in collaboration with Street Art Museum Amsterdam a guest artist is creating a new work especially for this evening.
And of course, the Neighborhood work pictures for musical vibes, from surprising beats to well-known classics, all evening long.

Van Eesteren meets Van Gogh!
During Museum Night, the Van Eesteren Museum and the Van Gogh Museum will join forces. Hop into one of the happy taxis — decorated with Van Gogh's iconic Sunflowers and Almond blossom — and travel from Museum Square to Nieuw-West and back again. This way, you can commute between the two museums, while discovering the different neighborhoods of Amsterdam along the way!
There are no fixed departure times. The colorful cars are ready for the museum, so hop in when you see them.
