In this creative and accessible workshop, you will learn how to transform an old Van Eesteren Museum exhibition banner into a sturdy crossbody bag. Guided by Studio Fiep, you will assemble your bag using simple eyelet techniques; no sewing experience is required.

Studio Fiep repurposes banners at their studio in Diemen, turning them into bags and wallets. For this special museum edition, you will work with a large wall banner that was on display earlier this year in a Van Eesteren Museum exhibition. Everyone will make their bag from the same banner, resulting in a unique piece with its own story.

At the end of the workshop, you will head home with a sustainable, one-of-a-kind crossbody bag and a memorable handmade souvenir.
