Fourteen years ago, the very first Van Eesteren Conversation took place. Speaker Jeroen Schilt then talked about the “Watergraafsmeer Proeftuin”. There have now been 99 Van Eesteren Conversations and we are ready for the 100th conversation. For this special edition, we thought it would be appropriate to invite the speaker of the first conversation again, architecture historian Jeroen Schilt.

During the 100th Van Eesteren Conversation, Schilt looks back on 25 years of “official dabbling” with one successful new construction project. He also has a surprise guest invited to join us in a conversation. Prior to the conversation, we look back at the activities of the past year that focused on women in architecture, urban planning and design. Finally, the 2025 annual theme will be presented.
